With the Database Manager, you can set up a new DB in a matter of seconds - just fill in its name and that's it. You will notice a list of all your databases and their corresponding sizes. You will be able to edit passwords, to create backup files and to even log in to the phpMyAdmin and phpPgAdmin software tools.
Simple Database Backups
It is quite important to create routine backups of your databases to protect your web site content and to avoid any incidental data loss. With the Database Manager interface, creating a database backup is extremely easy. Just click the Backup button next to the database you would like to back up and you will be instantly taken to the File Manager from where you can download your newly created database backup file.
MySQL and PgSQL Databases
The number of PgSQL and/or MySQL DBs that you can set up differs based on the shared hosting plan that you have chosen.
